Sun reported that British scientists believe that fierce waves with a height of 30 m may be the reason why many ships passing through the Bermuda triangle area are mysteriously submerged.

Over the past 100 years, this area has witnessed many shipwrecks causing the deaths of about 1,000 people.

In the documentary `The Mystery of the Bermuda Triangle`, scientists used indoor wave simulators to simulate this mysterious phenomenon.

“Toxic waves” were first observed by satellite in 1997 off the coast of South Africa.

British scientists have reconstructed a model of the USS Cyclops, the ship that disappeared in the Bermuda Triangle in 1918 carrying 300 people.

Dr. Simon Boxall, an earth and ocean scientist, said the Bermuda Triangle area is where major storms in different directions meet.

“There are storms from the north and south coming at the same time, and if there is another storm from the Florida side, it could create a ‘toxic wave’.

To date, the Bermuda Triangle is still one of the biggest mysteries in the world.

Another theory is that the cause of the vehicles’ sinking was due to an `electromagnetic cloud` that caused the ships and planes to malfunction and fall.
