141 doctors and nurses from three central provinces at the hospital in Binh Duong and Ho Chi Minh City

35 Quang Tri medical staff, including 12 doctors, 3 technicians, a pharmacist and 19 nurses, took on the task of supporting field hospital No. 1 in Binh Duong province.

Mr. Nguyen Xuan Dung, Director of Dong Ha City Medical Center, shared that these doctors and nurses wrote volunteer applications to go to the South, contributing to epidemic prevention.

Doctor Hoang Thi Ngoc Van, 26 years old, works at Quang Tri Town Medical Center, said her family was very worried when they learned that she volunteered to go to the South to fight the epidemic.

On the same day, Quang Binh province decided to establish a working group of 40 doctors and nurses working at many hospitals and medical centers, to go to District 10, Ho Chi Minh City to provide support from July 27 to August 26.

Doctors and medical staff in Thua Thien Hue set out on the afternoon of July 26, to Binh Duong to participate in anti-epidemic work.

Mr. Tran Kiem Hao, Director of Thua Thien Hue Department of Health, said that the 66 doctors and medical staff coming to Binh Duong this time are people with good experience and expertise.

The medical team traveled by air to Tan Son Nhat airport on a return flight carrying 240 people from Ho Chi Minh City to Hue on the afternoon of July 26.

Previously, Thua Thien Hue provided doctors and medical staff to Ho Chi Minh City, Dong Thap and Phu Yen.

On July 24, on behalf of the Ministry of Health, Deputy Minister Nguyen Truong Son wrote a letter calling on all medical forces in Ho Chi Minh City and across the country to volunteer in epidemic prevention activities.

Previously, Ho Chi Minh City asked the Central Government to support 12,000 medical workers.

To date, the whole country has recorded 97,370 cases, of which Ho Chi Minh City has the largest number of cases with 62,139 cases, Binh Duong 8,417 cases.
