Ancelotti did not mind the 0-4 loss to Man City last season

In the Champions League semi-finals last season, Real drew 1-1 with Man City at the Bernabeu in the first leg.

The score of 4-0 is the largest gap in a Champions League semi-final match.

`Real has forgotten what happened last season. We are only focused on tomorrow, and at most think about what happened a week ago,` Ancelotti said at the pre-match press conference.

Coach Ancelotti directed during Real Madrid’s 4-2 win over Napoli in round five of Group C of the Champions League on November 29.

In the first leg of the quarterfinals at the Bernabeu on April 9, after letting Bernardo Silva take a free kick to open the score in the second minute, Real rallied and led 2-1 thanks to Eduardo Camavinga and Rodrygo.

`I won’t lose sleep unless I eat too much tonight,` Ancelotti joked.

The two teams scored a total of 23 goals in the last five meetings, with Man City winning their last three home matches against Real.

Ancelotti also praised Jude Bellingham – the midfielder who has four goals and four assists in the Champions League this season.

Bellingham also attended the press conference, and said that no team was rated higher, and the opportunity to advance was divided equally between Man City and Real.

The 20-year-old midfielder also praised Ancelotti for helping him have a successful first season with Real with 20 goals in all competitions.
