Benzema helped Real win big
Benzema just shined brightly when scoring three goals against PSG, helping Real win 3-2 to enter the quarterfinals of the Champions League.
Thanks to that, Benzema equaled his personal record for both goals and assists in a season.
Benzema increased the score to 2-0 for Real from a penalty kick in the 77th minute of the match at Iberostar Stadium on March 14.
Benzema helped Real secure first place with 66 points, ten points ahead of second place Sevilla.
The two teams showed contrasting performances in round 29. Real sublimated with four consecutive wins in all competitions, including a 3-1 victory over PSG to enter the quarterfinals of the Champions League.
The head-to-head record also favors Real, as they won five of the last six times they met Mallorca, including four matches in which they scored at least four goals.
The match at Iberostar Stadium yesterday also partly showed that contrast.

In a difficult match, Real suddenly scored thanks to their opponent’s mistake.
Benzema and VinÃcius have combined to score eight goals in La Liga this season, the best tally for an attacking pair in Europe.
