Proposing three indicators to evaluate Covid-19 safety adaptation

According to the instructions, there are four levels of epidemic risk and corresponding response measures, including: Level 1 (low risk – new normal), blue;

The disease risk assessment index is based on a number of criteria such as the number of infections per week per 100,000 people;

The epidemic risk assessment is carried out by the locality on a weekly basis to change the epidemic prevention status accordingly.

Measures considered for application according to each epidemic level, for agencies and organizations include: Number of people gathering outdoors and indoors;

Measures for people include: Compliance with 5K;

The Ministry of Health regulates the circulation and transportation of goods within provinces or between provinces to operate at all four levels.

Cooperatives and households producing and doing business in the fields of agriculture, forestry and fishery;

`We must prevent new outbreaks from appearing in many localities. If we don’t stamp them out early, it will go out of control. Therefore, places that are not yet severely affected must strengthen screening of high-risk areas.`

Regarding the PC-Covid application being built, Deputy Minister of Information and Communications Nguyen Huy Dung said it will have the following main functions: Issuing and managing individual and location QR codes;

Vietnam currently has about 12 Covid-19 prevention applications, including locally developed applications that have not yet linked data, so `they are not as effective as expected`.
